tetri.objects

is a project experimenting with digital tools to create architectural shapes - inspired by postmodern architecture. the designed objects are sculptures that evoke associations with traditional forms yet can also be perceived as new and unusual.

whilst initially drawing these objects, i visited the 2018 post-otto wagner exhibition at the mak museum in vienna, austria. the exhibition investigated otto wagner’s role as the “father of modernism”. it became clear to me how big his impact on the following generations of architects and designers was, in particular the postmodern age. many projects and drawings displayed as part of the exhibition - ranging from ettore sottsass to michael graves - became a great source of inspiration for tetri.objects.

the initial designs of each sculpture have been drawn digitally and 3d printed. the current collection consists of resin made objects, where i have been particularly interested in testing different materials, as well as 3d printed vases.

i hope you enjoy the collection.
